YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS HERE!
Get a start into this ancient art form. Students will interact and learn directly from Bonsai Master Robert Cho and his son Nolan Cho. Together we will share our love and knowledge of Bonsai and give you the confidence to work on your own trees. All of our trees come with a courtesy donation-based Bonsai Day Care service. If you travel out of town and need someone to water your bonsai, simply bring it back to us at our nursery in Kent and we'll take care of your bonsai tree for you!

Our Bonsai For Beginners 1.0 class will be working with an outdoor Juniper tree.
​
​Our Bonsai For Beginners 2.0 will be working with an indoor tropical tree.
PART 1
EDUCATION
The first part of the Beginner Class, students will learn about the history, principles, and techniques of Bonsai. Instructors will share their knowledge on how to select pre bonsai material, lighting, temperature, watering, soil mix, pruning, styling, and potting. We will equip you with the knowledge necessary to ensure the bonsai tree will thrive under your care.
PART 2
WORK SHOP
The second part of the Beginner Class is a hands-on workshop where students create their own bonsai from start to finish alongside our Instructors. You choose the tree that speaks to you and that's the one you work on. All materials, pot, and tree are provided and all students will leave with their own Bonsai Tree.​

Practice the art of wiring in this intermediate level class. If you have some beginner bonsai knowledge and you're itching for more, this is the class for you!
PART 1
EDUCATION
The first part of the Intermediates class will be a comprehensive breakdown on bonsai wires. During this portion, each participant will have practice trees to work on. We will teach you how to select the proper gauge, material, and how to apply the wires using multiple wiring techniques. This wiring class is the place for you to make all the mistakes!
PART 2
WORK SHOP
The second part of the Intermediate Class we will be using all the techniques learned in part one to wire up your final tree. You will then style, prune, and pot the tree in a ceramic bonsai pot. The finished bonsai will go home with you!

PRIVATE BONSAI CLASSES
A private bonsai class is a great team building experience for any occasion. Corporate experience, birthday parties, weddings, retreats, etc. You will all learn to connect with nature in a unique way and your team will build relationships with each other as they watch their trees grow.
